Plan:
Small, fast tools for the web. Open source since 2014.
Now
I work on the GitHub Next team — GitHub's R&D/FAFO/big-bets lab. I work on developer tools and build prototypes that become and/or inspire the future of GitHub.
Open source
256 open source packages, downloaded 942,109,498 times a week. Most of them do one thing, have no dependencies, and fit in a few hundred bytes: clsx, polka, uvu, sirv, kleur, dequal, and many more.
How I learned
I learned by buying, reading, and taking apart WordPress themes; then later discovered I could do the same thing (for free) on GitHub, in bulk.
Location
Somewhere in your node_modules.
Lately
- lane: copy-on-write Git worktrees with memory that survives them (Rust).
- comptime: build-time evaluation for Vite and Rolldown.
- bongo: the static site generator this site is built with.
- A four-node DGX Spark cluster on a shelf in my office.
